Introduced in 2012, the EX03 includes most of the same great characteristics of the EX01. What makes the EX03 different is the one-piece frame which is made from high glass content reinforced polymer. Hogue’s in-house injection molding capabilities allow them to create a one-piece frame with an integrated skull crusher. The stainless steel bolster plates are actually molded into the frame prior to assembly, assuring a precise action. The EX03 offers Hogue customers a price point knife without sacrificing any of the Extreme Knives philosophy they’ve become known for.

Allen Elishewitz is a renowned custom knife maker who has collaborated with Columbia River in the past. Hogue, Inc. is a company specializing in gun grips. Together they have created the EX03 Extreme Tactical Folder, a knife that combines Elishewitz’s expert designs with Hogue’s excellent handles. Coming in either a drop point blade or a tanto blade and various combinations of handle colors and materials, the EX03 is Hogue’s affordable version of the extremely popular EX01.
