Boker Plus Burnley Aphex Mini Flipper Knife 2.99″ VG-10 Satin Drop Point Blade, Titanium Handles with Black/Red Carbon Fiber Inlays

The modern Boker Plus Aphex Mini is the significantly scaled-down version of the Boker Plus Collection 2020 designed by Lucas Burnley. The intricately ground blade is made of VG-10 and is supplied with an impressive hairline finish and a decorative ricasso. Thanks to the ball bearing and flipper, the knife is particularly easy to open. The ergonomically shaped handle is milled three-dimensionally from titanium and is adorned with a modern inlay of wild carbon fiber with red inclusions. Jimping around the thumb rest and the generously dimensioned spacer increase safety at work. Supplied with a lanyard hole, removable titanium clip (tip-up/r), and a high-quality nylon case for storage.

Lucas Burnley of Oregon has been a full-time custom knifemaker and designer since 2003. His distinctive knives blend clean, modern lines with tactical origins – a style Lucas identifies as Post-Tactical. His designs for fixed blades and pocket knives are both playful and sophisticated and often incorporate subtle neo-Japanese elements. Above all, he believes that utility shouldn’t come at the cost of beauty. In addition to Pocket knives and handy Fixed Blades, he also designs his own accessories.
